2012 Annual Riding Club Championships

Many thanks to all of the competitors and Riding Clubs who supported our second annual Riding Club Championships at Barton Equestrian Centre, Bilsborrow, Lancashire. A very well done to our Champion Riding Club, Thornton Cleveleys H & PC and to Barton RC who were Reserve Champions.

We have finalised our 2012 competition dates and will be sending out affiliation forms to Riding Club Secretaries in the near future. Affiliation is free and entitles club members to discounted entry fees.

To ease the burden on Club Secretaries, we will not be running qualifying shows this year. Anyone  who is a member of a Rising Club can represent their club, but points will only be awarded to the highest placed competitor from each club.

A trophy will be presented to the overall winning riding club at the Evening performance.

SATNAV users travelling north on the A6 from the M55 should NOT turn down Green Lane - Carry on and turn right at the Roebuck pub.

The third annual Festival Equestrian Events Riding Club Championships will be held place at Barton Equestrian Centre, Bilsborrow Lancashire over 3 days in November 2012.

We have decided to run over 3 longer days and will run section championships for 1st and 2nd placed competitors immediately after the qualifying classes. The Supreme championships will take place at the Evening Performance on Saturday 17 November.
